Special adventures, I had lots of good adventures, but let's think of something else. So let's go to the future with my next special adventure, something deferent a new one, a goal I will love to reach. One of my childhood dreams. The Amazing Race.

The Amazing Race is a reality show on CBS. The reality consists in twelve partners who race around the world for one million dollars. Every year I seat on the couch with my family watching every Sunday The Amazing Race and this is where my special adventure starts.

The clues are interesting they are different like the detour consists in two tasks and each one has it pros and cons. The Roadblock is a task that only one member of the team can do it usually they are about "Who's really hungry?" or "Who wants to get down and dirty?”. The fast forward consist you can bypass a task but only one team has it it’s hard to get it, and many more. The adventures most of the time they are related to the country were they are sating.

Sense the show stared I always wanted to go and race around the world. Right know they are in the twentieth season. My partner will be my cousin Keeli or one of my brothers. Every team has their nickname that the other teams put them, I think my cousin and I will be “Here comes the crazy cousins “some of the nicknames they use are “The cowboys" or “The hippies ". I love Keeli she is one year younger than me, she is funny and we always try to do or try new things and some of them are crazy things.

A few days ago, I said to my mom that I want to be in The Amazing Race she said well she first laugh and the said " if you have to eat a worm you won't do it " and I said it depends. If someone dears me to eat it I won't but if I am in a race I will, that's part of an adventure eating stuff you never imagine to eat it and you know what you are getting in to.

Actually in the youth group we do something like it. What we do is all of us go to Antigua and make a small race we make teams and the youth pastor tell us what to do were to go and just like The Amazing Race in Antigua.

If I can go It will be the best adventure of my life I will never forget every time I will spent there and it will be amazing that my family can see me on TV and say “there she is let’s see if she can do it” and I am going to probe that I can and myself to I will say it will be a good adventure to my stomach because all the thing I will eat. It not only the food the tasks you have to do are not easy specially simple. You have to know your abilities and overcome the abilities you can’t do.

There not much feeling about the race because I’m not in it so it hard to describe and tell the people how I feel about the race but I think I will make it and I will talk to you and right of my adventure and shear it with everyone I know and I don’t know. Adventure takes you to places you never know for me it better if you are doing random stuff with a partner or family you love and go to explore the world.

On a trip two years ago I went with my family to the states to two different states Nevada and California. We usually go every year to Florida during December for a whole month or more, to the house, the weather in Miami is warm, humid.

Well I remember the first time I saw snow falling from the sky but I already saw snow five years ago or more , it was in Yosemite. Before I was in Sequoia, all the days were cold, freezing and I was very sick. I had headaches at night, not able to sleep good and breath. When we were in the way to Yosemite we start seeing snow falling from the sky.

Finally we got to Yosemite Falls and during the whole day we walk, we saw a few dears and bears. The hole place was amazing trees every were ( I mean huge trees). Everything was green except for a few places that the snow is starting to show.

I love the place, the houses or the hotel were nice made of old wood a nice deck and really homey. During the day I was expecting more snow because in the news they said for the next day will be cover with snow at least two feats. So I was wears the snow? And for a moment it stops snowing.

I went to the room and stay for the night watching TV and at the same time I was looking at the window if there were more snow and there wasn't. I was excited I love snow for me is the best weather because it's cold and at the same time you can cover yourself and feel warm and steel enjoy the snow. I was up until eleven at night and I steel was looking throe the window, I was upset I didn't see nothing, but I steel have a chance to wake up and see the snow so I went to sleep.

I wake up and my first thought was snow; my mind was telling me (open the curtains and look outside) sow I did the moment I sow the snow I was the happiest girl in the world. Everything was white, fluffy, and you can see the snow going down from the sky. As soon I took out my cloth in less than five minute I was out side I was enjoying every moment. I put on jeans, sweater, and my snow boots.

I went out and I saw my brother George and my mom taking pictures. The first thing I did is to touch and grave the snow like kids touching everything in their way. First thing I felt was a snow ball of my brother sow we started with a snow fight. My mom was taking pictures of everything and especially the Yosemite Falls. Some moments you could heard cracks from an object or a person moving something but my mom was telling me it was the Yosemite Falls you can see the ice falling and cracking down through falls.

It was amazing there were three feats of snow and during the day more, I remember the day before you could see the earth colors and the next day everything was covered with snow.

As I said earlier I was sick but I didn't care the snow was making me feel better I was in heaven. We made a snow man and it was almost my height. I wish I could go back in time. The weather can make you feel happy in a cold day but you can have a nice hut chocolate and watching movies in your bed and steel enjoying the weather.

Throw the week I move to Lake Tahoe to ski. That's another reason way I love the snow and the cold weather. A few years back I learned how to ski in Pennsylvania and it was amazing going down the hill you can feel the breeze in your face I like the way you feel that. If I will live in a place like that my hobby will be skiing.

Snow. Snow, snow makes my day happy, every time I think of snow I think family time, hut chocolate, setting outside enjoying the day, skiing, playing around and I wish I can go back or go again. I realize that weather can change your mood, and for me it dose.

Do I have to ask for more?

I was thinking of a personal ritual, but as far as I know there are many that I have and my family has.

There's a particular food that I love to eat that is peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Almost every day my mom makes me a sandwich for school, some time she toasts the bred and later she puts the peanut butter and the jelly, and as well I make it in the same way when I am not in school. I think I became addictive to that and peanut butter in a spoon. Some times when I am in my home and I am hungry I grab a spoon, the bottle I place the spoon and take a good gooey spoon full of peanut butter, that make my day.

Since the day my mother gave me to tray the peanut butter, I think I was well I can't remember when, but I know it was when I was very small I suppose three and up. When I eat allot of the same food I get tired of eating it  like the bananas I us too eat them like a monkey now I can't eat them it’s really rare for me to eat them, maybe every two years or one. The peanut butter is different I can't stop eating it.

On Sundays when the American Football season starts me and my family watch the games. First thing in the morning we get up we eat breakfast and go to church. Later we enter our home and sometimes the games are on TV or we have to wait more or less. My family and I seats on the coach and watch the game and cheer for our team or get mad at the other team as well with the referees.

I remember when I was very little like five or six years I saw my parents and family screaming all the time saying  " go go go touchdown!" and more. I was that people are crazy, know I am the crazy one to screaming every time. My team is Miami Dolphins, Steelers, Falcons, and Giants. There are many teams that I love but the main ones are those three. The teams that I hate are the Jets and Patriots I can't stand them neither my family and my cousin loves the Patriots’ and I always end up fighting with him how team is the best.

The Super Ball even if my teams don't get thru the finale I love to watch it with friends and family and eat wherever I want to most of the stuff junk food. One of my many dreams is to go to a Super Ball game live.

Every Sunday at nine thirty I go to church and join the youth group. During the week on Wednesday we get together with the youth group at church and my youth pastor gives a talk to us on Sundays and Wednesday. Before we worship we play most of the time eat pizza, snacks, and pastries. I like to be with them and don't miss a single Sunday or Wednesday with them. They make me happy and get to know more about God.

The rituals that people make them happy. In my case I love them and tray to have a blast with them no matter what kind of ritual I have. As in the peanut butter I enjoy ever pice of it, and in American Football I am happy to be with my family and friends and be able to talk about it with my friends.

The sad thing is that this year maybe there's no football because the players are asking for more money, I think that is ridicules to ask more money of why they won during the season. Maybe these year I won't scream for my teams. So the people have many rituals and many times they don't know or realize what they are doing and consider it as ritual until they think about it.

A House to a Restaurant

Every weekend I spent my time in the hose of Antigua. I had a great time, there been parties, family reunions and more.

The place is very big there are three houses in the same place one is the main one that it is the biggest one, when you enter the house its smells like old wood, the colors are worm like fall. The whole house has dark wood, except the kitchen, the kitchen is old school and quit big. The decoration has really old thing specially made wood . The stairs are old made of dark wood in a form of the big stairs you seen on TV that you can sit on them and slide down in a circle, and in the night you can hear the steers cracking when someone is coming, just like a haunted house. You can feel very cozy and warm. Sean’s my grandma died know there renting the place some doctors that come to Guatemala to help people and there project is call Faith and Practice my uncle Joseph works  whit them. The place is just the same as always.

 The other house  my grandpa built it, in that house is rely nice the rooms are in the right side and the left is a big living room where theirs a mark of cat paws in the second house that nobody knows the cat and nobody sow the cat before.  There’s a big fireplace made of brick.  Every time I spent there at night we use the fireplace to rust the marshmallows, man that was good what I do with them I rust them until the outer part gets black, and I pull the black skin and the inside is warm and gooey. Sometimes we spend Christmas in Antigua instead of the states. The second floor my cousins and my brothers we love to go up and touch everything in their specially my grandpa's national geographic magazine, he had a big collection. They were organize by year and month, you can see the big shelf and all of them just like a library.

 The last house is the smallest one, but I have a blast playing video games like Mario party in the 64. We had to dogs on a Labrador and a German shaper.

 One day in the backyard we put up a tent it is big I steel have it, sow back to the day my cousins and my brothers we were happy that my uncle but us the tent. We went in and took our shoes and got out side and I was the last one and I took my shoes and went out. In twenty minute we came back and in less than thirty second everyone went back outside, and my cousin Joey said to me "your shoes stink!" he was right my shoes stink, and we didn't went back in. Steel today they bother me specially my uncle Joseph always remembers me about the smelly shoes.

We use to skate on the rocks, (I know it’s weird but we had good moments with it) or a nice surface were we can actually slide. Also we had swing set, but in a few years we had to take them down.

 In the backyard we had a big lemon tree and we always took the lemons and make lemonade what's better than fresh lemonade. The backyard its part rock like the rode in Antigua and around it the three houses and lots of colorful trees, grass next to them, but there's a problem with the dogs they destroyed the grass and my uncle had to keep an eye on them and the grass to.

The way that the houses are the small one is on the left side in the right the house that my grandpa built and un the middle in the back the main house, so there’s a big space between each other.

  Know everything had change, but in a good way. The place is a restaurant call Quezos y Vinos, the last time I went there they were changing the two houses the smallest and the one that my grandpa built. Were we use to park the cars know it's a huge white stove where you can cook the pizzas. The both houses are steel from my family but the restaurant rents it. That's the last time I went were they only were fixing everything.

 I never have been in the restaurant to eat, and when I am in Antigua I always ask to eat there and we don't go. I talk with my friends about the restaurant and they told me that it is good and very nice, I’m happy to her that from my friends it makes me feel that the place is steel good. The weekends that I stead there were part of my childhood, and I will always remember everything.
